Happiness package from the U.S.

So. After my very deadly hangover today I emerged at 7pm.. still with a big headache. But at least I wasn’t tied to the toilet vomiting my entire digestive system like this morning. 

How did that happen? I have NO IDEA. I was manic last night. I invited a friend over and we had a few drinks.. a few yes. I danced to disco and we talked a lot. I had an entire bottle of wine and half a bottle (big one) of ruby beer. So yeah I have no idea how I woke up in HELL this morning. (denial much?) 

This became really unimportant when my neighbor came to my door with a package he received from the mailman for me. I had ordered some beauty supplies from an american store in Amazon so when I saw the “Priority Mail: United States Postal Services” on the box I was like aaaaw yeah! 

Why did I ordered things from the US when I live in the country where most quality beauty products are made? Well, two years ago I spent my last undergrad university year in oregon. So I actually lived in the US for a year and discovered some brands and products that are only sold over there and became my all time favorites (no special reason whatsoever just personal taste). 

So yeah. It may also be because that year was my happiest ever, and some of the smells and textures stayed in my head as “happy smells”. You know.. nothing too subjective as always. That must be my borderline side kicking in. 

So I got St Ives Sking Renewing Body Lotion, and the Apricot scrub too. God two of my favorite smells on earth. I actually opened them and smelled them. And I almost cried. It just made me remember how happy I was. I also got the amazing Neutrogena body oil. So good I can’t believe it’s not available here. And some professional l’oreal hair color with 30 volume developer. I plan on having lighter hair color very soon. 

Yeah. My day was made by some pretty futile events. But who cares. Futility can be a nice place to seek refuge from illness. It works sometimes.
